Since it’s opening in 1958,
Tokyo Tower has been one of
Tokyo’s most prominent landmarks
and is visible from many locations
around the city.

At 333 meters tall and
weighing about 4000 tons
it is 13 meters taller and
3000 tons lighter than
the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The tower has it’s own logo
and what the Japanese call
“Noppon,” the Tokyo Tower
original character.

The first elevator takes you up
150 meters to the Main observatory.

On a clear day it’s possible
to see Mount Fuji.

Here are some scenes
from the Special observatory
at 250 meters.
