Kaminari Mon is one of
Asakusa’s best known landmarks
and the most popular
entrance to Sensoji Temple.

After passing through Kaminari Mon,
you will encounter Nakamise Dori.
This street and the streets on either side
have many shops offering
a wide variety of Japanese souvenirs.

Houzou Mon is the main
gate to Sensoji Temple.

Sensoji Temple was originally
constructed in the year 645 and
is Tokyo’s oldest temple.
After being destroyed during
World War II air raids
it was rebuilt in 1958.

For a relaxing, private tour
